FRP antenna not suitable for indoor use

1. Why is the glass fiber reinforced plastic antenna not suitable for indoor use?
A: Many people may notice that international brands such as linksys or dlink generally only use 7db or 5db or 2db antennas on their equipment, but they seldom see their 9db or higher gain indoor omnidirectional antennas on the market. According to our understanding, 7db antennas have fully met the requirements for indoor use, while antennas above 7db cannot give full play to their advantages due to smaller angles, indoor use may also be counterproductive. Therefore, we suggest that omnidirectional antennas above 9db must be recommended for outdoor use. As for some people who say that indoor wall penetration is effective, this statement cannot be verified and need not be too convinced.
2. Why is it called an omnidirectional antenna and a vertical angle?
Answer: Generally speaking, an omnidirectional antenna refers to an antenna with a horizontal radiation angle of 360 degrees and a vertical fan-shaped emission angle of about 6~15 degrees. The higher the gain, the smaller the vertical angle. For example, a 9db antenna can achieve a radiation angle of about 14 degrees, while a glass fiber reinforced plastic antenna can achieve about 8 degrees is the limit.
3. Why is it that in the same position, the reception of 15db antenna is not as good as that of 9db or lower gain antenna? The higher the gain, the smaller the vertical angle.
4. After looking at the above questions, what environment is FRP suitable?
Answer: Because of the small vertical angle, signals can only be transmitted at 6~8 degrees horizontally. Therefore, FRP antennas are widely used for wireless coverage in plain areas, wireless coverage in the same horizontal position environment and wireless coverage in the same horizontal position environment. If they are mounted at a higher position, signals can only be transmitted to a farther position, but they cannot be covered near or with height differences.
